Saw this photo online, while doing research for my art history final and was totally captivated! I have no idea what makes me love it! I love the landscape and the solitude presented by the tree, which in no way evokes sadness. It seems more like a treasure, inspiring hope, mysticism, and wonder. It was a pleasant surprise....now back to work, ugh!!!
